Abstract

Quran is the revealed word of Allah almighty. It is mandatory for everyone to believe in it as a whole in order to be Muslim. If a person refuses even one verse, he would be taken into account as a non-believer. This is the reason for Prophet Muhammad PBUH managed to teach Quran to his companions in perfect manners. He did not leave any space to be criticized by any of the upcoming intellectuals. Among his companions, Abdullah bin Masood was an important one with the reference of learning of Quran and teaching it to others. He was and is considered to be the one of most influential scholars who explained the interpretation of this scripture completely.  Along with such fact, there are a number of narrations came with the reference of Abdullah Bin Masood that he would not take them as the official part of Quran. There are some scholars of Islam who do not accept such traditions as “Sahih”. In the same way, some scholars believe in those narrations as those are true. This study has taken place in order to bring some neutral conclusion with the reference of all narrations.
