Etiquette of fasting
Praise be to God and prayers and peace be upon the Messenger of God and his family and his companions and those who follow them with charity until the Day of Judgment: but after that:
Whoever fasts and does not stop telling lies and following lies, Allah is not interested in him being hungry and thirsty.
Fasting is a kind of worship that continues continuously from dawn till sunset and the reward and reward of such long worship is also greater. Fasting was obligatory on every Ummah, Allah Almighty said: O you who believe, let fasting be written for you as it was written for those before you so that you may be pious.
O you who believe: Fasting has been prescribed for you as it was prescribed for people before you, so that you may become pious and pious.
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) explained adultery and said: "Whoever fasts and does not stop telling lies and following lies, Allah is not interested in him being hungry and thirsty." Then the Prophet ﷺ said, "Whoever skips even one fast of Ramadan without a valid excuse due to ill health, fasting for the rest of his life will not make up for that single fast."
Fasting should be kept solely for the pleasure and pleasure of Allah. One should endure hunger and thirst throughout the day with full sincerity, faith, and the intention of obtaining reward. Whatever worship is involved in hypocrisy or showmanship, that worship is never accepted. Namaz, Zakat, Hajj are visible, others also know about it. But fasting is such an act of worship that only Allah knows about it. It is also possible that a person eats and drinks secretly and pretends to be fasting in front of people, and it is also possible that a person is fasting. And stay alert, stay alert, don't show laziness and weakness, keep working as usual, don't let people know and let people fast for the sake of Allah. The reward of such a fasting person is safe with Allah, it is the secret of Allah and Allah is the keeper of his secret, but this situation occurs in post-post-fasting, it is necessary to know the obligatory fast, and the philosophy of worship in Islam is also that the obligatory acts of worship are veiled. It should be done openly and postnatal worship should be done secretly if possible.
In general, one should stay away from bad things, but especially during fasting, one should avoid bad things. The Prophet, peace and blessings of God be upon him, said: Fasting is a shield for Al-Soom, Jannah. If someone insults him or fights him, he should say that I am fasting, that is, he should say in his heart, how can I respond to abuse with abuse?
May Allah bless us to fast with faith and accountability. Amen
The virtue of trust
Praise be to God and prayers and peace be upon the Messenger of God and his family and his companions and those who follow them with charity until the Day of Judgment: but after that:
On the authority of Umar, may God be pleased with him, he said: I heard the Messenger of God, may God's prayers and peace be upon him, say: If you put your trust in God, the truth is that He will provide for you as a bird provides for its sustenance, and you will eat as a bird and go as a bird.
On the authority of Hazrat Ibn Umar, may Allah be pleased with him, he said: I heard the Messenger of Allah, may God bless him and grant him peace, saying: If you put your trust in Allah as you have the right to trust, He will provide for you as He provides for the birds in the morning. They go out hungry in the morning and return in the evening with a full stomach.
In the Hadith Sharif, in order to explain people in a very good way, the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, has given an example that can be easily understood by every intelligent person. His teaching method was also that he used to explain the things of religion to the people with the example of the present conditions and existing things so that the talk was short and left an impression on the heart of the hearer. Here, giving the example of birds, it was said that birds do not have any permanent job, they do not have any pension, they do not have any savings, they do not save anything for everyone, they just leave the nest early in the morning and return after being satisfied. come. On the one hand, this proves that Allah Ta'ala is the Sustainer of His creatures, on the other hand, how much trust the birds have in their Lord.
Trust is also called trust in Urdu language. This is a quality that can only be born in believers. The first condition of trust is faith in the unseen. A person who believes in an omnipotent being can rely on him in prosperity and hardship. Undoubtedly, trust and confidence in Allah alone can enrich a Muslim with the wealth of faith. Man accepts the distribution and destiny on His promise, entrusts his affairs to Him and acknowledges that He is the creator, He is the owner, He is the one who gives honor and humiliation or He can give prosperity and success and failure. A person who trusts Allah in so many matters, just imagine, will he be afraid of any trouble or trial in the world? Someone's fear will be in his heart? Absolutely not! That is the only way to success. The divine statement is:
And upon Allah, put your trust, if you are believers.
Trust in Allah if you are a believer.
It is true that Allah is sufficient for the one who trusts in Him, but what are the manners and conditions of trust and trust? Sitting on your hands, holding long hopes, not doing any work, no
Not moving and putting your trust in Allah and leaving the affairs of the world is actually contrary to trust. This is the failure and unwillingness, this is the evil, this is the destruction of the society. Islam considers it extremely evil. Trust does not mean that people can fully trust themselves. He should consider his hard work, efforts and measures as everything, boast of his abilities and resources. Believe only in material resources and forget the almighty who is its real owner, in whose hands all profits and losses are. This attitude is also against Islamic etiquette and marks the pure materialistic concepts of the modern age. A person cultivates a field by working hard till the harvest is ripe, he should do all his material efforts. A sudden storm may come and consume it.
Real trust and faith is the middle way between the two. True trust means that a person puts the yoke of slavery to Allah on his neck, all the parts of his body are in obedience to Allah, he adopts the means in every work, he tries his best to achieve good to the extent possible. Then his heart should be attached to Allah, he should believe in His Self, whoever tries should also ask Allah for help. Have full faith in Allah's distribution and satisfy your heart that all matters are settled according to Allah's Sunnah. The Prophet ﷺ was resting under a tree when a Bedouin pointed a sword at him and said: Who will save you from me today? He said, "O Allah, the sword fell from his hand. In the cave of Thor, the enemies were on the edge of the cave, and you were in the presence of Abu Bakr Siddiq, may God be pleased with him, looking at their feet from inside the cave and saying: No. Fear Allah is with us. If there is faith and belief, trust is like that. Hiding in a cave was the means that he adopted and then relied on. Once an Arab left a camel loose and said, I leave it loose and trust in Allah, it will not go anywhere. He said: Go tie it first and then trust. This is the lesson we get from the Quran and Sunnah that we should not sit back and work with full confidence in our abilities, but use all our abilities and after using all the means, we should have full confidence and With faith, trust in the One in Whose hand is the kingdom of all the worlds.
Sincerity
Praise be to God and prayers and peace be upon the Messenger of God and his family and his companions and those who follow them with charity until the Day of Judgment: but after that:
On the authority of Hazrat Umar bin Al-Khattab, may Allah be pleased with him, the Messenger of Allah, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: Actions are guided by intentions, for each person is what he intends, who migrated for the sake of Allah and His Messenger. His emigration is for the sake of Allah and His Messenger, and whoever emigrates for the sake of the world or leaves his home for the sake of marrying a woman, then his emigration is for the sake of that for which he emigrated.
In this honorable hadith, the importance of intention is explained and Islam is based on this hadith because any good deed in the world that is not done for the sake of Allah's pleasure and happiness and obtaining reward is not rewarded by Allah. Example For example, a person gives 100,000 rupees to a poor person and his purpose and intention is that in this way this poor person will be kind to me. 100,000 rupees has no weight in the sight of Allah, on the other hand, a man quietly gives ten rupees to a poor person and his intention is that Allah will reward him, then in the sight of Allah those ten rupees are worth it. Have weight. Similarly, if a person fights in the way of Allah, lays down his wealth and life, and intends that people will call him brave and pious, then there is no reward for him with Allah, even if he gives his life. give Hijra is mentioned in the mentioned Hadith. In Hijra, a person leaves his house, possessions, dear homeland, relatives, land and property and goes to another place. It should not be the intention, but the intention should be that you will live happily in another place, you will get more wealth and wealth there, if you marry a good woman there, then you will get a reward according to the same intention.
Every act of man involves intention. Even the smallest work becomes a reward and reward due to intention, and a great work becomes pointless without intention. For example, before going to sleep at night, you turn off the light bulb and make the intention that my Prophet has said that if you sleep with the light turned off, then it will be a reward, otherwise it will not be. If you make the intention while sweeping the bed that this is the Sunnah of my Prophet, then it is a reward, otherwise not. When you give good advice to someone, think that it is my duty as a Muslim, then you will get a reward. Therefore, whatever a person does in this world, the act of intention must be involved, without intention, no action can be done, and if the intention is to follow the will of Allah and His Messenger (peace be upon him) and the Islamic teachings, then all the actions of a Muslim will be done. All life It becomes a wind. What I am putting before you, if my intention is that I am a seeker of God's pleasure by explaining to the people the importance of intention in Islam, then I will be rewarded for it.
Every action depends on the intention, '1 If the intention is right, then the actions will be accepted. We pray to Allah Ta'ala to grant us sincerity in everything we do. Amen
